'Crazy To Exist' is a compilation of two live shows, remastered and originally recorded shortly before the band's split in 1981. The first 10 tracks are from a Scottish concert in April of that year and the sound quality is considerably clearer and crisper than the second recorded in London in August. Captured in a live environment, Josef K must have been a great group to watch; sounding both primitive and vital whilst eschewing the amateurish playing of most punk bands. The dexterous guitar playing involved is really something special; a shame their time together was so brief. Detailed and highly informative sleeve notes from James Nice at LTM add value to the package too. To order this CD contact James Nice at LTM at jnice@ltmpub.freeserve.co.uk.
