The final Nick Drake album from 1972 was the barest of the lot for two reasons. Firstly, the album length itself is only 30 minutes in length and secondly Drake is the only credited musician on the album. Needless to say most of these tracks feature just Drake and his guitar and he bravely manages to produce yet another collection of great songs. On beautiful elegies such as 'Things Behind The Sun' and 'Parasite' it shows what a great talent Drake had to make so much out of so little in terms of production and collaborators. It's no surprise that many thought that this was Drake's best album. Sadly, his untimely death seems all the more frustrating when one thinks what album he could have made next.
